In early August, the foreign ministers of Egypt and Greece signed an agreement in Cairo on a preliminary plan for maritime borders between the two countries in the Mediterranean.
The map, which was published at the time of the announcement, showed that the agreement was in fact only partial, and lacks key details.

The trilateral military cooperation, begun in November 2017, has all the necessary components to become decisive for the three countries in the eastern Mediterranean in the long-term. In addition, the US is fully behind the three countries, sending a clear signal to Ankara not to provoke conflict in the region.
